LeVar Burton's announcement as a guest host has been a long time coming. The award-winning actor, director, pedagog, co-founder of the Skybrary App, old host of Reading Rainbow, and literacy proponent is an easy, almost brainless choice for hosting the show. After George Stephanopolous takes the helm, Robin Roberts will accept the render for a week in mid to late July and then Burton will take over for a week, earlier Jacques Louis David Faber and Joe Buck.
